Wynter Projects aims to introduce, collaborate and promote the arts to a public audience through art walks and creative projects/events. These unique walking and cycle art tours are designed to offer a cross-disciplinary morsel to a curious audience. The art projects and events are developed and delivered in collaboration with artists, galleries, creative spaces, business, Local Government and organisations. Wynter Projects is coordinated by Chantal Wynter.
Brunswick Street Art Walk 11am:
Wynter Projects will begin walk at the corner of Gertrude and Brunswick Streets ( Atherton Gardens side) where the St Vincent Soup Van has been providing meals for the under privileged for many years. Our first stop is Panelpop, specialising in up cycled art surfaces. We continue down a local lane way abundant in colourful and bold graffiti. We drop into PG Printmaker Gallery, operating since 1975 specialising in exclusive prints. A little detour to see street art on a grand scale. We finish at The Ownership Project, promoting artistic and cultural development of refugee, new migrant and Aboriginal and Torres strait islander artists. A great one hour introduction to the Fitzroy art scene.
